Leadership Peer Review®
What is LPR?
LPR was created by Executive Leadership Coach and Leaping Koi’s founder David Davila. Leadership Peer Review takes the real-world tested Stakeholder Centered Coaching methodology by the world’s #1 CEO coach Marshall Goldsmith, and puts it into a package that leverages peer coaching and masterful facilitation, at a price that is a fraction of an executive leadership coaching program. Our guiding principles are:
Who is LPR for? Unlike CEO groups or masterminds, the Leadership Peer Review is not exclusive to a certain level of leader. It is inclusive to those who want to get serious about leadership and want a peer group to help them stay accountable. Leadership Peer Review by Leaping Koi is a game changer for those looking to enhance their skills at a price that is easily justifiable to both the individual and the organization. |
The Leadership Peer Review combines the exceptional coaching of Leaping Koi with the support of peers to help you reach your full potential! This is an amazing opportunity for any leader to grow and learn with a community and stay accountable. David A Davila MsML, MGSCC

By bringing people together who have no formal accountability to or interactions with each other, you can create deep learnings that wouldn’t be available otherwise.

What does the program look like?
These are ongoing working sessions with predictable set meeting time. At the start of each yearly cycle, member leaders will do a 360-feedback assessment to benchmark where they’re at and compare it with their progress as measured by stakeholder perception of their leadership impact every single year.
Every session will be slightly different, using a suite of tools, frameworks, and feature distinguished guest speakers. Each session is meticulously designed to maximize leaders’ time. When Covid restrictions are lifted, we will organize an optional leadership retreat for members. This will be an opportunity to deepen bonds with other leaders, as well as to meet people from outside the peer group.
How are Peer Groups created?
Each Peer Group ranges from 6-12 people from different industries. In order to maintain integrity of the groups, each group will be capped at 12 members who have been assessed on their leadership courage, humility, and discipline within their professional context. These could be titans of industry, people managers, or high-level contributors in corporate, non-profit, or government.
What if I'm already working with a coach?
Great! LPR does not compete with 1-1 coaching outcomes, in fact "...benefits are different from and complementary to those realized in a one-on-one setting." (Steinberg B. & Watkins M. (2021, April 14), The Surprising power of Peer Coaching, Harvard Business Review)
LPR is also an entry-point to experience executive coaching, which has traditionally been cost-prohibitive. Members learn the same frameworks and get the same feedback from world-class coaches with real-world leadership experience.
What if I’m an entrepreneur/solopreneur/small business owner?
It’s OK, we just ask that you don’t solicit business from Peer Group members. As this concerns professional ethics, a single warning will be issued, followed by expulsion from the group without a refund.
What if I’m in between roles?
It’s OK, the group can also become a resource to find a new role. Just be aware that if you land a role at a company represented in the Peer Group, you will be asked to move cohorts the following year.
What other time commitments are there for LPR?
Leaders commit to 6 LPR meetings per year and we encourage smaller support cohorts to meet outside of peer meetings if and when relevant, and an optional retreat after Covid restrictions are lifted. All members have access to Leaping Koi's learning resource database and may want to spend time learning and implementing those materials in their own lives.
What options are there for LPR inside an organization?
Leaping Koi can offer our LPR framework in-house with slight modification, as well as provide certification for internal staff to run LPR, which is a cost-savings. Contact us to explore how we can work with your organization.
What if I’m still unsure?
If it looks interesting, we suggest starting with the free readiness assessment. We want to work with those we can serve best and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you don’t think the cost is justified after the first meeting, we’ll refund your money.
